Danny first came to Spain when he was 5 years old and he was schooled here. His first interest was golf and he concentrated on the sport becoming a very good player. However this was not to become his chosen career. Already very interested in food and cooking he left for Manchester to pursue a career in the catering trade but always working front of house. He worked in various managerial capacities for Wetherspoons and was then transferred to London
While living in London Dani applied to enter MasterChef along with another 20,000 applicants. After a number of interviews he was selected to be in the last 65 contestants on the BBC 1 program.
His dedication, his hard work and his natural talent took him to the top in this prestigious competition reaching the semi final heats. With the experience he gained during this time and his previous work in the catering trade it was a natural progression to opening his own restaurant. Dani returned to Spain and opened Vintage Café in the cosmopolitan area of Playa Albir and it is proving very popular with residents of all nationalities and it is Dani's opportunity to bring a new dimension to eating out in our region.
